Demand for office real estate has been on the rise post-pandemic. When it comes to investing in the space, investors are spoilt for choice — REITs, EFC (I) and Awfis Space Solutions, which got listed at a 13% premium on exchanges. As REITs generate stable returns, will flexible workspace firms capture growth in office properties?

Amit Ramani can’t help but feel a sense of relief and joy. On Thursday, the company he founded, Awfis Space Solutions, got listed on the exchanges at a premium of 13% (INR435 per share). It was both “joyous” and “humbling experience”, he told ET Prime. In a way, the successful listing of Awfis is a momentous occasion for the Indian co-working or flexible workspace companies.
