    Iran's military forces reportedly killed senior Jaish al-Adl commander Ismail Shahbakhsh and companions in a clash in Pakistan. Jaish al-Adl, designated a terrorist organization by Iran, operates in Sistan-Baluchistan, Iran. This comes after both countries conducted airstrikes on each other. Despite recent security cooperation agreements, tensions remain high. In January, Iran carried out strikes in Pakistan against Jaish al-Adl, leading to diplomatic strains. Both countries later agreed to de-escalate tensions and return their ambassadors.
