Dixit also mentioned India's historical aircraft manufacturing and stressed the need for user-driven 'atmanirbharta' to succeed. The conference was co-organized by SIDM and CAPS.

The Hindustan Turbo Trainer Aircraft-40 (HTT-40), designed and developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), was flown by Deputy Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit in Bengaluru. The fully aerobatic aircraft is equipped with a turbo-prop engine, glass cockpit, modern avionics, and safety features including a zero-zero ejection seat.
