PSU shipyard GRSE to build ocean-going tug for Bangladesh
The tug's primary roles will include towing ships at sea, both alongside and astern, assisting them during berthing and casting off, and aiding in turning through pushing and pulling, the GRSE official said. The vessel will also have the capability to carry out rescue and salvage operations at sea.

BRO to fence major portion of India-Myanmar border
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is fencing the strategic India-Myanmar border, starting with a 10-km stretch in Manipur. The Ministry of Home Affairs has identified 1,700 km of fencing that needs to be done. Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the India-Myanmar border will be protected by barbed fencing, similar to the India-Bangladesh border. The next 80-km stretch in Manipur has been identified, and the remaining 250 km is in the planning stage. The BRO is also involved in infrastructural development in the Campbell Bay area and is focusing on the India-China Border Roads in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
