The two-acre land parcel adjacent to Kadri Park at Store Yard, near Kadri Hills on Park Road, is set for e-auction. The reserve price is set at Rs 39 Crores with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 1.95 Crores.

    Hackers breach BSNL again, second time in six months

    This is the second time in six month where BSNL has suffered a data breach. Athenian Tech chief executive Kanishk Gaur told ET, the breach involved more than 278 GB of data from the state-owned telecom operation, including server snapshots, which can be misused for SIM cloning and potentially more severe criminal activities like extortion.

      Tejas bags ₹7,492 crore BSNL contract

      In a regulatory filing Wednesday, Tejas said it has executed a master contract for supply, support and annual maintenance services of its telecom equipment for BSNL's pan-India 4G/5G network with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). "As a part of this contract, the company received a purchase order from TCS for ₹7,492 crore (approx. $900 million) to supply its latest 4G/5G RAN equipment for approximately 100,000 sites," the Bengaluru-based gear maker said in the filing. The contract will be executed during the calendar years 2023 and 2024.

      Telecom equipment worth Rs 6,911 crore has been exported by companies selected under the PLI scheme till May 31, 2023.       BSNL, private telcos object to Trai's LSA-level audits

      Indian telecom operators have rejected the proposed licensed service area (LSA)-level audit requirements proposed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) as it would result in duplication of work and wastage of resources. Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea have asked Trai to adopt a sample LSA and conduct audits within that umbrella. The draft Quality of Service regulations proposed by Trai mandates that all telcos get their metering and billing systems audited by an auditor once every financial year, alongside outlining punitive action in case of non-compliance.

      HFCL to partner private telcos, BSNL to deploy 5G services

      Telecom equipment provider HFCL will partner with private telcos and state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to deploy its 5G private network solutions over the coming year, a senior executive said. The telecom-tech company has started presenting proof of concepts to deploy multiple private 5G use cases across manufacturing, warehousing, mining and healthcare.
