    Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

    NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.10 crore), Sawaca Business(numbers of share traded: 7.24 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 3.92 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 3.66 crore), Shree Securities(numbers of share traded: 2.55 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 2.36 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.17 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.01 crore), Indian Info Sof(numbers of share traded: 1.91 crore) and Khoobsurat Ltd(numbers of share traded: 1.29 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 18.11 points down at 24123.85, while BSE Sensex ended down 34.74 points at 79441.45.

    On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 3.40 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
