    Tejas aircraft, ALH Dhruv to participate in Dubai airshow

    India's light combat aircraft Tejas and advanced light helicopter Dhruv will participate in the biennial Dubai airshow that is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 17. The two platforms are part of the Indian Air Force's deployment at the prestigious event, officials said on Wednesday.

    The Tejas aircraft will be enthralling the audience with its display of low-level aerobatics displaying its superior handling characteristics and manoeuvrability," it said in a statement.

    "The single jet performance will bring impressive stunts and manoeuvres to Singapore's skies," the airshow organisers, Experia, said on Monday. The airshow will have eight flying displays and flypasts from four air forces and two commercial companies, it said. The Tejas aircraft had also participated in the Dubai Airshow in November last year.

    Boeing says getting close to resuming 787 deliveries

    The planemaker is also sticking to plans to deliver its delayed 777X passenger jet in 2023, while holding advanced talks with potential buyers of a new 777X freighter, Ihssane Mounir, senior vice president of commercial sales and marketing, said.
