    Independent judiciary means independence of judges in performing their duties: CJI Chandrachud

He highlighted the ongoing efforts to educate judges on overcoming biases and acknowledged the court's role in facing challenges and meeting democratic ideals. CJI Chandrachud also underscored the court's commitment to reducing case pendency and enhancing access to justice for all citizens.
