The tower, built on one-third of an acre, is expected to house the company's new head office. The deal is significant in the ongoing trend of leasing office space rather than buying it outright.

    Of the ₹33,610 crore raised by 37 companies so far in 2024, about 45%, or ₹15,190 crore, were through new shares, the highest proportion since 2015, when India Inc. raised nearly 48% fresh capital, according to data from primedatabase.com. The funds raised as fresh issues in 2024 were to either finance capital assets or retire existing debt obtained to build capacities, according to IPO documents.

The Hong Kong-listed company will invest over Rs 276 crores for construction, including land costs.

    Godrej Industries’ Chairman Nadir Godrej and his family have acquired three sea-view luxury apartments in South Mumbai’s Malabar Hill for a total of nearly Rs 180 crore from a real estate development subsidiary of the JSW Group. The under-construction super-luxury residential project, Ruparel House, on Ridge Road at the top of Malabar Hill with the view of Queen’s Necklace, is being developed by R House Realty, part of JSW Realty.

      "We follow the practises of a listed firm and with future generation coming in, we want to list the company. We have substantial land bank across Gurugram and are adding more, which will take valuation of the company further up," said Amarjit Bakshi, chairman and MD, Central Park.
