    Earthquake of magnitude 4.4 hits Leh in Ladakh

    A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck Leh in Ladakh on Wednesday morning, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The earthquake, with an epicenter at Latitude 36.10 North and Longitude 74.81 East, occurred at a depth of 150 kilometers at 8:12 a.m. No casualties have been reported so far. Last month, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake hit Assam, with its epicenter in the Karbi Anglong district at a depth of 25 kilometers. Further details are awaited.
