    International Yoga Day: Here are five poses that you need to include in your daily schedule

    Officials have noted widespread participation from numerous countries during International Yoga Day, highlighting global acknowledgment of yoga's role in enhancing physical and mental well-being. The concept for a dedicated Yoga Day was proposed by Prime Minister Modi during his speech at the 69th session of the UN General Assembly in 2014. Subsequently, on December 11, 2014, all 193 UN member states unanimously agreed to observe the International Day of Yoga annually on June 21.

    The aim of morality

    Morality, the foundation of spiritual practice, is not the final destination but an essential beginning. It requires mental equilibrium and is often equated with leading a well-knit life. While morality varies based on circumstances, its ultimate goal is the attainment of Supreme Bliss. The aim is not merely to avoid specific actions like theft or lying but to eliminate the tendencies that lead to such actions. True morality leads to a state of Oneness with the divine, where desires for wrongdoing cease to exist.

    "There is a dividing line between what the legislature can do, and what the legislature can't do when there is a judgment of the court. If a judgment decides a particular issue and it points out a deficiency in law, it is always open for the legislature to enact a fresh law to cure the deficiency," the CJI said.
