The National Transportation Safety Board accused Boeing of violating investigative regulations by providing non-public information to the media and speculating about possible causes of the incident. Boeing's recent actions have led to sanctions, including restricted access to investigative information and a subpoena to appear at an investigative hearing in August.

    MHA sanctions CBI inquiry into alleged extortion case involving jailed AAP minister Satyendar Jain, conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar

    The Ministry of Home Affairs granted approval on Friday for a CBI investigation into allegations against incarcerated AAP Minister Satyendar Jain. He is accused of extorting Rs. 10 crore from the infamous conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar while Chandrashekhar was imprisoned in Tihar Jail.

    Sanction for CBI probe against Shivakumar in DA case illegal, so withdrew it: CM Siddaramaiah

    ​​The cabinet on Thursday deemed the previous BJP government's move to give consent to the CBI to investigate the DA case against Shivakumar as not being in accordance with the law and decided to withdraw the sanction. The then BJP government had given the sanction on September 25, 2019 following which the central investigating agency registered an FIR against Shivakumar on October 3, 2020.

    SC to hear on Monday pleas of TN, Kerala governments on 'delay' by governors in giving assent to bills

    ​The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Monday two separate pleas of the Tamil Nadu and Kerala governments, alleging a delay by the respective state governors in giving assent to bills passed by the assemblies. A bench of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and Justices J B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra is scheduled to hear the pleas.
