    The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), supporting the Mahayuti alliance of the BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP in Maharashtra in Lok Sabha elections, will contest alone for the upcoming legislative council polls. It will contest in the Konkan Graduates Constituency. MNS announced film director Abhijit Panse as their candidate. The party criticised the lack of attention to graduate issues by current MLCs.
