Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party Chief Mehbooba Mufti conceded defeat to Jammu & Kashmir National Conference leader Mian Altaf, who leads by 2,36,730 votes as per Election Commission of India data. With 222469 votes to Altaf's 459199, Mufti accepted the results. she thanked her party members and voters. This marks the first Lok Sabha election in Jammu and Kashmir post the Article 370 abrogation, with the five seats undergoing polling in five phases.
FIR against Mehbooba Mufti for violation of poll code
