    Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace evacuated after bomb threats with France on alert

    The Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace in Paris were evacuated following bomb threats. The threats came amidst heightened security in France after a fatal school stabbing by a suspected extremist. No incidents or injuries were reported at the Louvre, and the police conducted a search of the museum. The former royal palace at Versailles also received bomb threats and was being evacuated. The French government has raised the threat alert level and is deploying 7,000 troops to enhance security. The Louvre, a popular tourist attraction, receives thousands of visitors daily.
