    The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its initial list of candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha election, featuring over 195 names. Notable figures include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 34 Union Ministers and Minister of States, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and two former Chief Ministers. The list includes 28 women, 27 SC, 57 OBC candidates, and 47 candidates below 50 years of age.

    Telangana govt transfers IAS, IPS officers following EC orders in view of assembly elections

    The Telangana government has transferred and posted several IAS and IPS officers in compliance with the Election Commission's directions. The EC ordered the transfer of police commissioners in Hyderabad, Warangal, and Nizamabad, as well as appointed 10 new superintendents of police. The government also transferred and posted IPS officers accordingly.
