    Air India ties up with Delhi Metro, DIAL to facilitate check-in for international passengers

    Air India on Tuesday said it has partnered with Delhi Metro and Delhi airport to facilitate check-in for international air passengers at two metro stations in Delhi. The check-in and baggage drop facility at the Delhi airport allows passengers to check in their baggage at the metro station, giving the outstation travellers the option to explore the city baggage-free.

    Electric cab aggregators on expansion, hiring spree

    Evera, an EV cab aggregator that currently operates in the National Capital Region, plans to expand its fleet of electric cabs about ten times by the end of 2023, from 238 now to around 2,200 vehicles. It has partnered with Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD for 100 units of the all-new e6 vehicles, cofounder and chief executive Nimish Trivedi said.

    Once completed, the metro's total operational length will increase to 33km from 24km. These extensions will improve connectivity and increase convenience for commuters in the area. MahaMetro authorities say the Ramwadi stretch is elevated and the Civil Court-Swargate section is underground. The subway station is expected to enhance accessibility for outstation travelers.
