Sikkim govt nod for 4 pc DA hike
The Sikkim government has approved a four per cent hike in dearness allowance for employees and pensioners, effective from July 1, 2023. This decision was made during the first cabinet meeting of the new Sikkim Krantikari Morcha government, chaired by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang. The increase brings the total dearness allowance to 46 per cent, costing the state exchequer Rs 174.6 crore this financial year.
