    The Lok Sabha polls in formerly undivided Andhra Pradesh have significantly boosted the BJP's fortunes in the southern states. The success can be attributed to former undivided Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP), an NDA ally, which secured 16 out of 25 seats in the Andhra LS polls. Additionally, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party, an NDA ally, won two seats. The rival YSRCP, currently in power in the state, only managed to secure four seats. The Congress-led INDI-alliance failed to secure any seats in the state.
