    • Arijit Singh was 18 when he came sixth in Sony TV’s singing reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005
    • He next won a music reality show called 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil
    • Singh then began assisting composers such as Pritam, Mithoon, Vishal-Shekhar and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as a music programmer
    • He made his debut as a Hindi movie playback singer with the song Phir Mohabbat in the 2011 movie Murder 2
    • In 2012, he sang hit songs such as Raabtafor the movie Agent Vinod, Duaafor Shanghai, ‘Yaariyan for Cocktail and Phir Le Aaya Dilfor the movie Barfi!

    • Singh won the best playback singer (male) Filmfare in 2018 for the song Roke Na Ruke Naina, in 2019 for Ae Watan and in 2020 for the song Kalank Nahi
