Neighbour held for murder of missing 12yo in Moradabad

Bareilly: Police found the body of a 12-year-old boy, missing since Thursday, and arrested a neighbor for the murder in Majhola, Moradabad, on Sunday.
Aman alias Sharad (22) was arrested after police reviewed CCTV footage showing the victim with the accused on a scooter. Sharad took the victim to his village in Bilari, where he sodomized and strangled him when the boy threatened to report him.

Sharad then dumped the body in his ancestral house. The victim was the son of a security guard.
ASPAkhilesh Bhadauria said, “He admitted to killing the boy. We have gathered sufficient evidence and charged him under sections 377 (unnatural offences) and 302 (murder) of the IPC, along with the Pocso Act.”
