Man from Kerala held with 18kg ganja
Chennai: A man, who brought 18kg ganja by train from Odisha, was arrested at Chennai Central railway station on Friday. Railway police arrested 32-year-old Mohammad Kasim, a native of Malappuram district in Kerala, and recovered 18kg of ganja from him following a tip off about his movement. Around 3.30am, police teams monitoring passengers deboarding Howrah Express, detained the accused on suspicion.
Police searched his bags and found the ganja.
In another incident, police arrested two people on Thursday who had 35g of high-quality ganja at Saligramam. tnn
