Hyd student missing in US traced
Hyderabad: A 23-year-old Indian student Nitheesha Kandula who was reported missing in Los Angeles from May 28 has been located. Police chief John Guttierez of California State University, San Bernandino police department has informed that she has been ‘located and is safe’.
Nitheesha who hails from Hyderabad went to pursue her higher studies in California State University.
She was last seen in Los Angeles on May 28 and a police complaint was lodged on May 30.
The police had put up a missing person’s notice urging the public to inform them about her whereabouts if they had any information. The police, however, did not mention the details about when and where she had been located.
