Fake Aadhaar: 2 Bangladeshi ‘touts’ arrested

MUMBAI: The city crime branch unit VI arrested two Bangladeshi nationals, Akram Noor Aliuddin (26) and Lima Haldar (26), for allegedly helping illegal migrants get Aadhaar card and other citizenship-related documents.
Based on a tipoff, police laid a trap near Wadala station and arrested Aliuddin and Haldar. Police said the duo charged illegal migrants, especially from Bangladesh, Rs 20,000 each for fake Indian citizenship documents.

NIA arrests man with fake notes
A 22-year-old man with alleged links to an international gang supplying counterfeit currency was arrested in Shahjahanpur. The NIA team seized fake notes from Aditya Pratap Singh's house in Banda town. Singh, charged under IPC sections 489-A, 489 B, 489 C, and 120-B, tried to escape but was caught. Rs 70,000, mostly counterfeit Rs 100 notes, were recovered from him. The raid lasted an hour and officials questioned people in touch with him. The Mumbai city crime branch has arrested the main accused, Kiran Kumar Birajdar, who was a partner in the drug manufacturing firm in Solapur. Birajdar was taken into custody from Solapur jail, where he was already lodged in connection with another drug seizure. He is the partner of the three previously arrested accused and had provided the MD production lab equipment. In October, the police raided a manufacturing factory in Solapur and seized 8kg of MD along with raw materials. Rahul Gawli, Atul Gawli, Jain, and Kailasm Vanmali were also arrested.
Police arrest uncle, nephew in murder of woman relative in Bijnor
Police arrested Vipin Kumar and his nephew Nishant for the killing of Vipin's sister Suchita. They allegedly strangled her and disposed of her body in the Poshak river. Vipin had filed a missing person report, but the police found his story suspicious. CCTV footage revealed the victim's presence in the house. After collecting evidence, the police arrested Vipin and Nishant. The reason behind the killing was Suchita's troubled relationship with her family.
