Patna: Leader of opposition in state assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Tuesday claimed the RJD-led Grand Alliance would form the next govt in
Bihar after winning the 2025 assembly elections. The Grand Alliance currently comprises six parties – RJD, Congress, CPI-ML, CPI, CPI-M and Vikassheel Insaan Party of Mukesh Sahani.
Asked about NDA’s charge that the RJD received a drubbing in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, Tejashwi told reporters, “We drew a blank in 2019 LS polls.
However, our tally improved to four this time. It’s a four-fold jump for the party. We will win the assembly elections next year and form govt in the state,” he claimed. Tejashwi also hit out at PM Narendra Modi for not including any Muslims in his cabinet.
Reacting to Tejashwi’s claim, BJP spokesperson Manoj Sharma said, “Tejashwi should not be so much elated as he will be bowled out for zero in the assembly elections.”
