Phoenix Marketcity hosts Bombay Talkies in Pune

Theatre enthusiasts of the city were in for a treat when Phoenix Marketcity Pune recently hosted the play 'Bombay Talkies' at the mall.
The play, directed by Vikram Kapadia, enthralled the audience with performances by seven artistes including Mansi Multani, Delnaaz Irani, Viraf Phiroz Patel, Darshan Jariwala, Anahita Uberoi, Namit Das and Devika Shahani.Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Malla, center director, Phoenix Marketcity, said, “Theatre has always been welcomed in the city and it was evident by the fact that we witnessed a full house for the earlier two plays 'Nothing Like Lear' by Vinay Pathak and '*Conditions Apply' hosted by Phoenix. Hence, we thought of continuing the tradition and taking it a notch up this time and showcased 'Bombay Talkies' for the first time in Pune. We are overwhelmed by the response we got from our patrons and hope to bring in more plays.” The do was attended by Raja and Ritu Kochar, Arundhati Hugen, Monika Patel, Sunil and Sabina Badami and others.
