Kanthi is a parliamentary constituency in West Bengal. In 2019, Kanthi constituency in West Bengal witnessed 1,660,147 electors, with 1,424,247 valid votes. All India Trinamool Congress' Adhikari Sisir secured victory with 711,872 votes, defeating Bharatiya Janata Party's Dr. Debasis Samanta by 111,668 votes. In 2014, Sisir Kumar won with 676,749 votes, surpassing Communist Party Of India (Marxist) candidate Sinha Tapas by 229,490 votes, amidst 1,490,409 electors and 1,290,811 valid votes.
