The trailer of Nag Ashwin's much-awaited 'Kalki 2898 AD’ has been released and fans are going gaga over Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas' stellar looks. Now, Alia Bhatt has reacted to the trailer of 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories and shared the trailer of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Tagging all the actors in the film including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and the director Nag Ashwin, the actress wrote, “this looks unreal,” with a clap emoji.
The film is set in the mythical and dystopian city of Varanasi and follows a journey from the Mahabharata in 3102 BC to 2898 AD.It centres on Kalki, the 10th avatar of the Hindu God, Vishnu.
Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebrities along with fans have taken to their social media to praise the trailer of the movie.
'Kalki 2898 AD,' directed by Nag Ashwin, is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. The film opened advance bookings worldwide over the weekend and received a good response with ticket sales shooting past $500K in international markets.
It stars Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and Dulquer Salmaan in pivotal roles. The film is all set to release on 27th June, with its first screening in the USA on 26th June.
On the work front, Alia was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', co-starring Ranveer Singh. The movie earned critical acclaim and won hearts with its plot, storyline, and music. Up next, Bhatt is all set to star with Vedang Raina in Jigra.
Jigra, helmed by Vasan Bala and backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is preparing for its cinematic debut on September 27th.
