Karan Oberoi reveals Mona Singh rejected his marriage proposal; says he never met the actress after break up

Recently, Karan revealed in an interview that Mona ended their relationship, despite his desire to marry her.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Karan reminisced about his relationship with Mona, which started on the set of the TV show.Spending so much time together led to a natural affection, as he admired her acting skills, relaxed nature, and great sense of humor. He described her as carefree and someone who laughed openly, qualities that drew him to her. Despite their separation due to various reasons, Karan emphasized that he holds no ill feelings towards her.

When asked about Mona’s decision to end the relationship after he proposed marriage, Karan reflected on the situation. He acknowledged that Mona was at the peak of her career with ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin,’ and her rise to national fame was significant. Karan admitted that he didn’t grasp this perspective at the time but now understands her need to focus on her career. He noted that expectations and judgments can lead to suffering, and he now believes that not expecting anything from others can lead to happiness and understanding. Karan emphasized that Mona’s choice was entirely reasonable.

Karan shared how he coped with the heartbreak, revealing that he experienced intense self-loathing for the first few months following the breakup. He acknowledged that this feeling of rejection can affect both personal and professional aspects of life. Eventually, he gathered his strength, and the pain became less intrusive. To distract himself, he began writing, which helped him move forward.
