Synopsis

Has he been kidnapped, has he run away, what has become of him... forms the crux of the story. While the story revolves around this one village, its politics, a conspiracy and a murder, there is a parallel sub-plot that revolves around friendship and love. Some parts of the screenplay tends to complicate the story, but the later half of this film can be a treat for those who love courtroom dramas.

Sambavami Yuge Yuge Movie Review : Sambhavami Ughe Ughe movie review: A tale of two individuals who fight for power and control over a village

Critic's Rating: 3.0/5
Plot: Jayaram Shetty and Surya Pratap are two powerful individuals who have a face-off of sorts in their village to prove that one is more worthy than the other

Movie review:Arjun (Jayaram Shetty), the reigning president of the village Gram Panchayat is a much adored indivitual, thanks to all the good work he has done for the welfare of his people. An ego clash rises when Surya Pratap (Pramod Shetty) arrives on the scene as the newly posted district commissioner in the area. The clash is because Surya is envious of the attention, love and respect that the people shower on Arjun. The clash gets even more serious when Surya's sister Swati (Nisha) falls in love with Arjun. Issues escalade and eventually the fight becomes one that the whole village gathers to witness. However, the main twist in the tale comes in when, one day after this major fight, Surya goes missing.

Even though Arjun may seem to be techincally too young to play the role of the president of the Gram Panchayat at a village - normally a post occupied by the elders of the village, actor Jayaram Shetty has managed to carry off the character adequately. Ashwin Haasan, Pramod Shetty, Bala Rajawadi add life to the story through each of the characters they play. The film has interesting mix of commercial elements which keeps interested.
