'RDX' producers accused of financial fraud

A financial fraud complaint has been lodged against the producers of the 2023 Malayalam movie 'RDX', directed by Nahas Hidayath.

According to Mathrubhumi News, Anjana Abraham, a resident of Tripunithura, has accused producers Sophia Paul and James Paul of failing to distribute the promised profit margins to stakeholders.

Anjana Abraham claims to have invested Rs.6 crore in the production of the film, expecting a full return on her investment along with 30% of the total profit. However, she alleges that despite the film's commercial success, she only received her initial investment after numerous pleas. Additionally, she asserts that she was kept uninformed about the revenue from the film's satellite rights.
The complaint against the producers of 'RDX Robert Dony Xavier' follows similar allegations made against the producers of the recently released survival movie, 'Manjummel Boys.'
"RDX Robert Dony Xavier" was a box office hit, with audiences praising its engaging storyline and stunning performances. The film narrates the journey of Robert, Dony, and Xavier as they seek revenge against Paulson and his gang for assaulting their family. The movie had the actors Antony Varghese, Shane Nigam and Neeraj Madhav in the lead.
