Lai Bhaari, in which she essays the role of Sumitra Devi, mother of Riteish Deshmukh’s characters- Mauli and Prince.
Tanvi, who was emotional and could only speak briefly, says, “Gone too soon Nishi... without any goodbyes! Will miss our amazing interactions that stemmed from our genuine fondness and respect for each other... Lai Bhaari is an experience that will stay with me forever. The thought of you will always bring a smile to my face... Will miss you Da!”
While Riteish Deshmukh, who was also part of the film Lai Bhaari, was the first to dispel the rumours of Nishikant’s demise. When the news was confirmed later in the day, the actor tweeted, “I will miss you my friend. #NishikantKamat Rest In Peace.”
