Aari's next film title unveiled

Actor Aari who was seen this year with his last outing 'Nagesh Thiraiarangam' has signed his next film titled 'Ellam Mela Irukuravan Paathupan' which will be a space film with aliens. The film is going to be directed by U. Kaviraj who is making his debut with this film and is produced by Rowther Films which is making a comeback after a long time.
Speaking about the movie Aari explains, “It’s a commercial science fiction space film with aliens and spaceships.Apart from Tik Tik Tik, we don’t really venture much into science fiction or fantasy films because for the same ticket price, the audience can see a Hollywood film. While those films are made at a budget of Rs 500 crore, we don’t have nearly that much.”
The film stars Rajendran, Dheena, Bagavathi Perumal and others in supporting roles. Subhashree who hails from Sri Lanka will be making her debut in Tamil industry with this film. The actor admits that he was slightly apprehensive about the story until the director explained the script which had been Indianized. The music is composed by Karthick Aachirya. The film is in the final stage of shooting and we can expect a motion teaser in another two weeks.
