Aishwarya Rajesh plays a nurse in her next titled 'Sister'
Aishwarya Rajesh, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley come together for a comedy thriller titled Sister, directed by debutant R Savari Muthu.
The director tells us, “The film revolves around an incident that happens at Aishwarya’s workplace. How she fights for justice, faces consequences and strives to help the middleclass overcome such incidents, creating awareness in the society, forms the crux of the story.”
He adds, “Instead of seeking revenge, the core of the narrative focuses on her fight to save common people affected by the incident. While Aishwarya portrays the character of a nurse, Redin plays a lift operator. He and Yogi develop a crush on her, and that takes the story forward.”
The film also stars Sunil Reddy, Santhana Bharathi, Arjun Chidambaram, Bagavathi Perumal, Seshu, Maaran, Adithya Kathir, Karate Karthi and others. Music scored by D Imman and cinematography is handled by Thamizh A Azhagan.
Aishwarya tells us, “I love Savari Muthu’s writing. I know him from Kanaa, and he has always been a supportive and a good friend. I am not a very well prepared person. I always believe in understanding a particular character. Almost 90 per cent of my scenes are with Yogi and Redin. Both of them have their own flavour of humour. Working with them was my main challenge as they’d both make me laugh by giving some counter or the other while shooting for serious scenes.”
