Blue Sattai Maran's Anti-Indian release postponed to December 10
YouTuber C Elamaran, popularly known as Blue Sattai Maran, had earlier announced that his debut film as a director, Anti-Indian, will release on December 3. However, now, the makers of the film have informed that they are pushing the release by a week due to the incessant rains in Tamil Nadu and a plethora of new releases on that day.
In a press statement that was released this evening, the makers stated, "We had announced that our film Anti-Indian will release on December 3.
But there is a change in that. The rains are expected to last till the first week of December. And the films of popular actors are releasing on December 3. Since getting sufficient screens for our film might be difficult on that day, we have decided to hit screens a week later, on December 10."
They also added, "We have already waited for long, so it doesn't matter if we have to wait for one more week. We have also taken such a decision because the film will reach more people only when it is released in a considerable number of screens in Tamil Nadu."
In addition to well-known actors like Aadukalam Naren, Radha Ravi, and Vazhakku Enn Muthuraman, Maran has roped in several newcomers for the main roles in the film. Anti Indian was first rejected by the Censor Board as it had some controversial scenes and dialogues. After the filmmakers made an appeal, the film was later passed by the CBFC with a U/A certificate.
