Sundar C and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer ‘Aranmanai 4' set for its OTT premiere

The highly anticipated film 'Aranmanai 4,' featuring Sundar C, Tamannaah Bhatia, and an ensemble cast, is all set to make its OTT debut. As per the latest reports, this comedy horror drama will premiere in mid-June 2024.

Directed and written by Sundar C, 'Aranmanai 4' also stars Raashii Khanna, Sundar C and Tamannaah Bhatia in key roles, with a supporting cast including Ramachandra Raju, Santhosh Prathap, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Fredrick, Jhonson, Rajendran, and Singampuli.The film also boasts cameo appearances by K. S. Ravikumar, Khushbu Sundar, and Simran.

The plot centers on Sathiya, who embarks on a quest to uncover the hidden truth behind his sister's suspicious death, leading to a series of chaotic and terrifying events. The narrative begins with a priest and his daughter traveling to a temple during a festival. After an accident involving the daughter’s blood, a shapeshifting demon named Baak is released. The demon kills the daughter and assumes her form, leading the priest to trap Baak’s soul in a vessel. The story then shifts to a village where Selvi, her husband Santhosh, and their children live. Following a series of tragic events, paranormal activities begin to unfold, drawing Selvi’s brother Saravanan and Dr. Maya into a web of supernatural occurrences.
'Aranmanai 4' was initially released in theaters in May 2024. Made on a budget of approximately Rs 35 crores, the film reportedly garnered a substantial Rs 100 crore within its first week at the domestic box office.
