Jammu and Kashmir: Cross-border firing reported along LoC in Poonch

NEW DELHI: A brief cross-border firing was reported on Saturday along the line of control (LoC) in Poonch district on Jammu and Kashmir. No casualty has been reported so far.
According to sources, an incident occurred at a forward Indian post in the Krishna Ghati sector late Friday night, leading to a response from army troops stationed along the LoC.

Searches are being conducted and vigilance has been intensified to prevent terrorist infiltration into the area.
