Sex abuse case: Court rejects bail plea of Prajwal Revanna
NEW DELHI: The Special People Representative Court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of rape accused and suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna in connection with a sexual harassment complaint registered at Holenarasipura police station against him and his father and former Karnataka minister HD Revanna.
While the former Hassan MP Prajwal is accused of raping and sexually harassing multiple women, his brother and JD(S) MLC Suraj is accused of sexually assaulting a man.
Both were taken into police custody on Tuesday.
Prajwal faces allegations of raping multiple women and sexually harassing three others.
Additionally, SIT is also investigating a kidnap case against their father, HD Revanna, and looking into the source behind leaked obscene videos involving Prajwal.
