There is growing concern about the rising costs of actor entourages in the film industry, with filmmakers like Farah Khan and Anurag Kashyap highlighting that these expenses often surpass actual production costs. In an interview with The Indian Express, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared his views, criticizing high entourage costs. He believes actors should stick to their fees without adding unnecessary expenses, which do not benefit the film. Siddiqui avoids such practices, even for larger budget films, as he feels they are detrimental to the industry. Siddiqui prefers small-budget films, taking on occasional roles in big-budget projects for financial stability, allowing him to pursue smaller projects. He stresses the importance of balancing work, ensuring variety by alternating between big and small films. To avoid monotony, Siddiqui enjoys diverse roles inspired by real-life individuals.
