Daily soap Deivam Thantha Poove goes off-air after three years of successful run; actress Sree Nidhi turns emotional

A number of daily soaps on Tamil television are going off-air for various reasons. While popular shows like Sundari, Magarasi, Pandavar Ilam, and many other shows went off-air in recent days. The latest Tamil daily show to conclude its story is ' Deivam Thantha Poove'.

The show, which premiered in December 2021, ended with airing over 620 episodes. Deivam Thantha Poove is a remake of the Telugu series Mithram and was quite popular among the telly audience.
The TV serial stars Nishma Chengappa, Sree Nidhi, and Amruth Kalam in lead roles along with Sridhar Subramaniyam, Harsha Nair, Nancy, Gayathri Priya, Murali Krish, Poraali Dileepan, VJ Santhiya, Uma Maheswari, Sandhya Ramachandran, and Sailu Imran in the supporting roles. The series is written and directed by Prathap Mani.

The story is all about Mitra, who is determined to make life better for her family. She overcomes all hardship bravely. Unfortunately, her life took a different turn when she was forced to marry a cancer patient, named Vinay. What happens to Mitra forms the rest of the plot.
