The web series 'Boka Bakshote Bondi' explores the story of Aupala, played by Solanki Roy, as she navigates the blurred lines between reel and reality. Neel Bhattacharya also stars in the series, set to release on June 21.

A popular actress. A happily married wife. Both in the same shell. One is striving for success. Another one finds fulfillment in domestic bliss. What happens when the fine line between the reel and reality blurs? ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’, helmed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, is set to take the audience for a dramatic and wild ride. The trailer of the web series is out now.


The story of ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’ revolves around Aupala who is a television actress. Aupala plays the character of Shondhamoni on a popular Bengali mega serial where he is paired opposite Pratik. Pratik and Shondhamoni are the onscreen couple for the show. In reality, Aupala is married to Partha. But what if the distance between the reel and reality starts to shrink? What happens when both the worlds converge and Aupala gets trapped inside the limbo? How does she get out of the box? ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’ explores the ebbs and flows of Aupala’s journey as Shondhamoni takes over her life and existence.

Solanki Roy stars as Aupala aka Shondhamoni in ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’. Shoumo Banerjee and Neel Bhattacharya are also part of the project and play the role of Partha and Pratik respectively. This is the first time Solanki has been paired up with Neel. The fans of the actors are excited to see them together onscreen.
Solanki Roy, a popular face both on Bengali television and big screen, gained popularity after her stint with ‘Ichche Nodee’ as Meghla, opposite
Vikram Chatterjee. She played the historical role of Dr. Kadambini Ganguly aka Bini in a period drama ‘Prothoma Kadambini’ opposite Honey Bafna. She made her big screen debut with ‘Baba Baby O’ where she shared screen space with actor Jisshu Sengupta. She was recently seen in a popular Bengali daily ‘Gaatchora’ and in a film called ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E’. Solanki has also acted in web series like ‘Dhanbad Blues’, ‘ Montu Pilot’. After wrapping up ‘Gaatchora’, Solanki took a break from TV. The actress has been travelling to-and-fro between Mumbai and Kolkata to focus on her ‘Bombay Dreams’.
On the other hand, Neel Bhattacharya, who rose to fame after portraying Nikhil in a popular Bengali television show named ‘Krishnakoli’, is gearing up for his debut in a web series. ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’ is set to stream on a popular OTT platform from June 21.
