I can only praise Megan and Danielle with helping me on my journey of buying a house and helping me understand mortgages better. We have used l&c three times! First when we bought, second time for a change of life insurance and now this third time for mortgage renewal. Everytime they have been amazing but this time Ryan has been exceptional. We started a couple of months ago and then have pushed back and back for many reasons and everytime Ryan contacts us to get it going again with the correct information. He has been so patience and understanding to the fact I have sometimes struggled to take calls due to young children so has gone above and beyond and done it out of working hours. As first time buyers, we knew little to nothing about the mortgage process. L&C were incredible in communicating to a T the next steps and had everything in place from solicitors, to life insurance experts and house insurance quotes. Priya & Emily were supportive and communicated everything clearly. L&C were recommended to us by countless family and friends and we are so grateful that as first time buyers our experience with them was smooth sailing.

Very prompt service from L&C and they quickly found a deal that worked.
One detail wasn’t included in the mortgage offer despite specifically stating this to L&C. However, when it was noticed they did work hard to get it corrected.

Had 4 or 5 mortgages from L&C over the years but they are clearly struggling. Filled in their online form 4 times called and chased 10 times maybe more. Let down at every step. Never again.
Booked call back at hour slots that never happened. Just sad.

Our experience could not have been better, we were lucky to have Kirsty Hale looking after us and honestly she couldn't have done anything better. The property we wanted to buy was selling to whoever got their paperwork in order first and Kirsty worked really hard to achieve that for us. She kept in touch throughout the process and was available whenever we needed some help.

This company was recommended by Which as one of the top mortgage brokers and it’s easy to see why.
Daniel Kennedy was brilliant all the way through. He explained everything so well. He helped steer me in the right direction to get more clarification from the conveyancer when I was struggling to understand part of the process. He even answered some questions for me after the mortgage was settled. He is also a really decent guy to do business with.

The remortgage deal with the recommended lender didn’t go through ( not for financial reasons) and there was no follow up call ( as promised by the solicitor) to discuss alternative options. However,
they thought it was appropriate to keeping calling me and sending emails regarding other products such as life insurance etc. Based on the whole experience, even prior the deal went off, I wouldn’t recommend their services.

This our second time using the service to find the best suited mortgage offer for our circumstances. Ian was fantastic at understanding our current financial situation, family commitments and outgoings. He considered all aspects of our deal, including solicitor fees, help to buy requirements and fees. Paris was great at organising everything, making regular contact and clearly explaining next steps.
The portal helps you understand each step by step, and keeps everything in one place. It's really helpful for tracking where everything is and next steps required.
Thank you to the team for all the help, for replying quickly to queries and making us feel like we knew what was happening when current interest rates are so crazy!
