Linda Robson makes parking confession

Loose Women star Linda Robson has confessed that her family have taken her car keys and only allow her pocket money because she "can't be trusted". The star made the admission during an appearance on Good Morning Britain to discuss her new memoir Truth Be Told.

During the chat with presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls she revealed she had just cleared a huge amount of parking tickets claiming she had just paid £3,000 worth. When Ed pointed out that parking isn't the same as driving skills she interjected: "My driving is not good either.

"They've taken my car keys off of me – my kids. They’ve taken control of my money and my car so I'm not allowed to drive anymore because I just say, 'I'm a national treasure I can park wherever I like,'" she laughed.

"They’ve taken my car keys off me. And I get pocket money on a Monday and a Friday because I can’t be trusted with money either." When Ed asked what she spends her money on she intimated she likes nice candles and buys expensive ones.

Her latest revelation comes after she confessed her family have restricted her contact with them. They have limited the number of times she can call them in a day.

The mum of four and grandmother of two admitted she used to call them all the time as the Loose Women panel recently discussed if it was OK to track your children.

"I called all the time but now I've been told I'm only allowed to call once in the morning and once late at night to give them a break," she confessed. "They have imposed restrictions?" fellow panellist Christine Lampard gasped.

When Linda answered in the affirmative, Denise Welch chimed in: "Your kids won't let you drive, they control your money, they say you can't call them and they suddenly got you a flat on the 85th floor. I think they're trying to tell you something," she laughed.

Despite her family currently controlling her funds, Linda has previously opened up on how she wants her finances distributed when she dies. Although, she hasn't yet written her will.

The 66-year-old astonished her fellow panellists as they discussed whether people would use their will as a way to control their family. Asked by Charlene White if that is something she would do, Linda answered in the negative. "No never, I still haven’t written my will.

"I should do it before I go shouldn’t I?" she said. However, despite not having anything official on paper, it quickly became clear that she had the document planned out. "I will make sure that my kids and grandkids - I want all my kids to get on the property ladder," she said. "My inheritance will go to them and my grandchildren.

"I'll especially look after Lauren because her dad died two years ago so I have to make sure she’s looked after. Also because she’s got my two grandkids that I love more than anything else in the world. So I’ll make sure that they all get well looked after," she intimated.

Good Morning Britain is on ITV weekdays at 6am.
