McDonald's menus across the UK to welcome exciting new addition in days
McDonald's fans will see a delicious new summer item land on UK menus for a limited time.
McDonald's restaurants across the UK will welcome an exclusive new sweet treat to menus this month.
It comes as part of the fast-food giant's latest change to its offering of classic burgers, salty fries, desserts, and drinks.
The fast food giant is adding a tasty frappe complete with a cookie twist, to its UK and Republic of Ireland menus.
The Oreo Frappe has a vanilla flavour base blended with ice and Oreo pieces, topped with cream and even more Oreo pieces.
Described by McDonald's as the perfect sweet drink to cool down with this summer, it's been long-anticipated by some fans.
Available in restaurants only from June 26 to September 3, the drink could prove even more popular than its predecessor, the Biscoff Frappe.
The cookie-flavoured drink comes in two sizes, regular (£3.09) and large (£3.39).
It's already a fan-favourite in the US, with many people sharing their love for the drink on X, formerly Twitter. One frappe fan wrote: "Sorry but it's at the point where I'm starting to prefer the Oreo frappe from McDonald's more than Starbucks frappes."
Another wrote: "That Oreo frappe from McDonald's slaps".

It comes after a major shake-up to the menu at the end of May 2024, when the brand launched a host of new products.
McDonald's booted off its limited-edition Biscoff Frappe (£2.99) and only now is replacing it with the new Oreo flavour.
New additions to the menu, which launched on May 29 included a delicious burger known as the Hat Trick.
The meaty meal comprises three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup encased in a glazed sesame bun. It can be purchased in McDonald's restaurants for £5.89 on its own, and £7.69 as part of a medium meal with a drink and a side.
Mozzarella Bites also made their return for £2.39, along with a box of nine Chicken Selects (£8.49), and the beloved Chicken Sharebox, which comes with six selects, 12 chicken nuggets and four dips.
The £2.19 Skittle McFlurry remains on the menu, replacing the Galaxy and Biscoff flavours which launched after Easter.
