While enjoying the beautiful trails and natural surroundings throughout the City, the San Antonio Parks and Recreation department wants to remind you to be safe and share the trails.


San Antonio offers a myriad of fabulous trails throughout the community for walking, jogging, hiking, cycling, and skating. Among these trails are 65 miles (and counting) of multi-use, hike and bike, greenway trails along Salado Creek, Leon Creek and the Medina River. As more San Antonians access the trails for fitness and fun, the need has grown to remind trail users to share the trails by following simple etiquette rules:


 


Summertime is a great time to embrace the beauty of our natural surroundings here in San Antonio. Step up your fitness routine and enjoy all the benefits of hiking, cycling, running, and walking on trails throughout the San Antonio park system.
The Parks and Recreation Department encourages you to consider the following safety tips as you make your plans for an outing on one of the many beautiful trails in your City parks and on the Howard W. Peak Greenway trails:
