The prize draw opens at 00:01am on the 14th of every month.
To enter the prize draw, you need to take a digital photograph of the completed crossword and send the image as an attachment by email to [email protected] before 23:59 on 1st day of every month (the "closing date").
Entry to the prize draw is free and is open to all Which? members of the United Kingdom aged 16 and over, excluding:
- employees of Which? Limited, Which? Financial Services Limited or the Consumers' Association; and
- non-employees working at Which? Limited, Which? Financial Services Limited or the Consumers' Association, their immediate families and anyone living in the employee's or non-employee's household. Proof of age may be required.
Entry into the prize draw is limited to one entry per person, per month.
By submitting a completed crossword you will be deemed to have understood and accepted to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The prize is £50 in John Lewis vouchers (the "prize"). No cash alternatives are available. Which? reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for alternative prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
All entrants who complete the steps set out at clause 2 above are entered into the draw. An entry will be chosen at random from all entries, and, if the entry chosen is a correctly answered crossword, that entrant will be the winner. Should, however, the crossword chosen be incorrectly answered, another entry will be selected at random from the remaining entries until a correctly answered crossword is chosen and a winner is found.
The winner will be announced in the next month's edition of Which? magazine. You agree that if you are selected as the winner, we may disclose your name and the area in the country you live (but not your specific address) for this purpose.
As well as generally announcing the winner in accordance with Clause 8 above, we will email the winner directly to let them know that they have been selected as the winner and ask them to provide their postal address, to which the prize will be sent. The winner will be required to provide their postal address before their prize can be released.
The prize will be sent to the winner at our expense, by recorded delivery to the postal address provided within 30 days of the winner providing their address.
If we have not heard from the winner, or if the winner fails to provide their postal address within 30 days of us contacting them, we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to consider the winner to have forfeited the prize and to withdraw the prize entitlement of that person.
Which? takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
Any personal data that we collect in connection with this prize draw will be processed in accordance with the European Regulation 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation), Directive 2002/58/EC (Directive on privacy and electronic communications), the Data Protection Act 2018 and any additional applicable laws (including national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation), and with our privacy policy (a copy of which can be viewed at which.co.uk/policy), and will only be used to administer this promotion.
Which? reserves the right to withdraw or amend either the prize draw or these terms and conditions at any time, without notice if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
The decision of Which? is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be invalid and disqualified.
You agree that if you are the winner, Which? may feature your name in promotional activities following the prize draw.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales
