We asked more than 6,000 people who bought carpet for their homes in the past five years what they think of the carpet shops they bought from.
Our survey respondents told us about their overall satisfaction with each carpet shop, plus how they rated the retailer's carpet range and quality, delivery service and value for money.

The table below reveals customer scores and star ratings for 12 carpet shops, including big brands Carpetright, John Lewis, Online Carpets and Tapi.
The top-performing carpet shop achieved a customer score of 81% and five stars for value for money, while the retailer at the bottom of the table scored a mediocre 65% overall.
Respondents who used independent retailers scored them on the same measures, so you can compare results for independents against big brands.
