The iconic TV series Star Trek has fans across the world and Ramit Mittal, CEO of Gourmet Investments, counts himself among the biggest. And luckily, Mittal also got to meet some of the stars of the show like William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy.

Mittal’s love for the show goes beyond entertainment. He says, “Star Trek embodies the human race going beyond monetary gains of society and actually doing good and bettering mankind — that’s what I have taken away from the show.” Such is its impact on his life that Mittal says if he had superpowers, he would choose to give back to those who are generally ignored.

“For example, perhaps dressing up like a superhero and visiting a cancer ward to meet the children. I think this is a superpower on its own. I would like to have the time to make a difference. I would have said world peace but that’s a very tall order.”

And what would he dress like if he had to attend a comic con? “If you ask my wife it would be the Hulk, if you asked my son he would say Iron Man. So, I’ll have to pick,” says Mittal with a laugh.
