Nothing like a mass wedding to celebrate the spirit of love! Ahead of the wedding of their youngest son, the Ambani family hosted a lavish mass wedding ceremony for over 50 underprivileged couples from Maharashtra's Palghar on July 2.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot on July 12 in Mumbai. The mass wedding event took place at the Reliance Corporate Park in Thane, attended by approximately 800 guests representing the couples' families. The event was graced by Nita and Mukesh Ambani, alongside Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, as well as Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal.

    Gold Was Gifted

According to an India Today report, each of the couples present received generous wedding gifts which included, gold trinkets including sacred mangal sutras, nose rings, and wedding rings! Jewellery such as silver nose rings and anklets were also distributed. Each bride was gifted Rs 1 lakh as her ‘Stridhan’.

The couples were gifted groceries and household items sufficient for a year, including 36 essential items and utensils, as well as appliances like a gas stove, mixer, fan, mattress, and pillows. A grand dinner was organized, and guests were invited to enjoy the traditional Tarpa dance performed by the Warli Tribe, enriching the evening with cultural significance. Adhering to the principle "manav seva hi madhav seva" (service to humanity is service to God), the Ambani family maintains a tradition of starting every major family event by giving back and serving others, demonstrating their commitment to the community.

Anant Ambani will wed his fiancee Radhika Merchant on July 12.
