Just like the nation, Bollywood actor and reality TV host Salman Khan also witnessed the beginning of a budding romance between late actor Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.

The actor was left stunned and heart broken when Shukla passed away suddenly in September 2021. It’s been over two years since the passing of model-turned-TV star, and Khan has urged fans to let Gill move on in her life.

The ‘Tiger’ star appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to promote his upcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ when he asked social media users who keep tagging Shukla and Gill as ‘SidNaaz’.

The actor said that Shukla is no more and now it is time for the actress to have her own life and even find love, if she wants to. Khan said that fans can't expect Gill to just remain unmarried forever.

"Even Sidharth would have wanted her to move on and start a family," the 57-year-old said. “But there are some people on social media who keep saying ‘SidNaaz’, ‘SidNaaz’. Will she remain unmarried for the rest of her life?! (Par social media pe yeh kuchh log jo SidNaaz, SidNaaz karte rahte hain, zindagi bhar yeh kunwari rahegi kya?” the actor said.

The actor further slammed those who keep troubling Gill. Since the passing of Shukla, the supporters of the former couple flood the Internet with ‘SidNaaz’ comments whenever there’s a media report suggesting signs of Gill moving on in her life.

"All these people who keep saying ‘SidNaaz’, ‘SidNaaz’, if she picks any one of them, the person will happily accept to be her life partner. What rubbish is this? Don’t listen to any of them. Just listen to your heart and move on in life. (Yeh jitney bhi SidNaaz, SidNaaz karte hain, inmein se kisi ek ko chunliya toh woh abhi kahega haan mai tumhara hun. Kya bakwaas baatien hai yeh, kisi ki sunna nahi sirf apne dil ki suno and move on in life,” Khan added.

'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' also stars Gill and a trio of Telugu stars including Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde and Jagapathi Babu, as well as Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassi Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Vinali Bhatnagar and Sukhbir.
